You may not have heard of this phone but we assure you it does exist. The phone we are referring to is the ViewSonic VPC08 Cell Phone, which is seen as the perfect example of the co-existence of a mobile phone and personal computer. The phone will come with an Intel ULV-series core processor and will run on the Windows XP platform.
The ViewSonic VPC08 Cell Phone is equipped with a 4.3-inch screen and much like a PC, has the average 512MB RAM and up to 8GB of storage. This is actually a slider phone with a full QWERTY keyboard so it allows you an easy way to compose your messages. There is however an external 2-inch display and a phone keypad, plus a 2 megapixel camera.
If you’re sharp when it comes to phones then you will easily see the similarity with the Nokia E90 which the makers are quick to deny. The phone is not cheap at $800 and it is surprisingly only available in China.
