This cellphone might have a funny and foreign-sounding name but don’t worry about it since that’s just an international codename and most probably, the phone will have a different commercial name when it is released in the market.
The Sony-Ericsson Kurara phone is one of the phones that will be introduced by Sony-Ericsson during the 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. That is several months from now, but this information leak has given consumers an idea of what to look forward to during the Congress.
The phone’s moniker is a sign that Sony-Ericsson is veering towards the use of more interesting names for their future products. While there is no confirmation on the specifications of the Sony-Ericsson Kurara, it is expected that the Kurara is a Symbian S60 5th generation OS samrtphone.
You can expect the Sony-Ericsson Kurara phone to feature a large display and maybe an 8 megapixel camera. Expect the handset to come with the attractive functions of both the Walkman and Cybershot phones. If nothing else, expect the Kurara to give you a satisfying multimedia experience in a single device.
