Philips is more popular for their appliances but with this new product they might just make it in the list of the world’s basic phones. The Philips C600 has a touch-sensitive display measuring 2.4 inches. But what makes it cool is the handwriting recognition of text input feature.
The Philips C600 is disappointing in the sense that it has a 1.3 megapixel camera only and a 2.5MB internal memory. However, you can get more storage from the microSD memory card which supports up to 2GB of memory.
This phone is a dual-mode phone so it can work with both GSM and CDMA and to make that easier for you the phone provides two different call keys for each network. It has an MP3 player, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, stopwatch and converter units.
The Philips C600 weighs only 118 grams and measures 115 x 54.2 x 16.6 mm. It has a digital keyboard with simple characteristics on display. It has Bluetooth features so you can connect to other Bluetooth-capable gadgets.
The Philips C600 may be a simple phone but at least it provides basic phone functions for beginners or for those who just want the basic features in their phones. And don’t forget it is dual mode too.
