T-Mobile myTouch 3G

Android and smartphone first-timers are the target market for this new phone from Touch Mobile. That’s the prediction of Touch Mobile CTO Cole Brodman, who said the new MyTouch 3G is bound to be more successful than the Touch Mobile G1. Too much confidence wouldn’t you say?

The Touch Mobile MyTouch 3G has enough reason to be confident, even with the simultaneous releases of Android phones in the market. For one, it comes in a sexier package, and a more affordable price of only $199.

However, there are those who don’t believe that the manufacturer can easily convince existing T-Mobile G1 owners to upgrade their phones. Neither are they convinced that the manufacturer can also lure iPhone owners to give up their gadgets.

But you never know, considering that the Touch Mobile MyTouch 3G is available in two color options of black and merlot. Thanks to the Android 1.5 update, this phone has managed to get rid of the physical keyboard, and replaced that with a virtual keyboard.

You now have a thinner phone, but with almost the same features as the G1. It has a 3.2-inch display and 3 megapixel camera with video recording feature. It is also features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and comes with 3G radio.

The Touch Mobile MyTouch 3G phone has up to 420 standby time and up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of talk time.
