HTC has done another world’s first with its HTC Max 4G. This mobile phone is the first ever phone that supports WiMAX connection which is like a Wi-Fi but has a broader range that can even cover a whole city. This is indeed a groundbreaking achievement to the mobile industry.

Aside for being the first ever WiMAX capable phone, this mobile phone is also equipped with tons of features and functions. Since this phone already has a Wi-Fi and WiMAX, HTC didn’t include in this phone the 3G technology. This mobile phone is a full touch screen phone which has a screen that measures a whopping 3.8 inches with a 480×800 pixel resolution.

It has a handwriting recognition, TouchFLO 3D finger swipe navigation, and accelerometer for auto rotating function. This phone is also equipped with media functions like the 3.15 Megapixel camera with autofocus, mp3 and mp4 player, FM radio, and TV out. It also has a GPS function and complete office function including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Unfortunately, this phone will be released exclusively in Russia via Yota network by the end of November with a tag of $1,050.00. There are no announcement yet regarding its worldwide release but hopefully it will be soon.
