Most phones are slim and trim but you can’t expect that when it comes to Blackberrys. The Compulab Exeda is a wide phone which is appropriately described as half-Blackberry and half calculator. Compare the phone’s keypads with your 80s calculator and you will see the similarities.
The Compulab Exeda phone has a 520MHz Marvel processor with 1GB storage and supports Android, WinMo 6.1, Angstrom Linux and Windows CE 6. Check your email and other messages through the 3.5-inch sun-readable screen via Wifi. The phone also comes with a 2 megapixel camera and don’t worry about taking as many photos as you want because it has a MicroSD card for more storage space.
Communicating is easy with the phone’s QWERTY mini trackpad which rightly fits in the phone’s measurements of 4.9 x 3.7 x 0.6 inches. It is slightly taller than the iPhone so it’s still very convenient to carry around.
The Compulab Exeda is the first ever mobile device from Exeda but they seem to have hit a jackpot with this one. It may not be sleek or sophisticated-looking but if you go for function and practicality then this phone will fit the bill.
