The Pearl 8100’s real successor has finally arrived, (even though its hasn’t been formally released yet). The Blackberry Pearl 3G is a candy bar designed phone, it ditched the trackball in exchange of the track pad, and the QWERTY keyboard has been squeezed into this less chunky model, but that doesn’t mean you need to have super skinny fingers to type comfortably, RIM’s SureType setup has been built into the Pearl 3G.
Other specs and features include well, 3G (duh..), A-GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA. This will soon be released to Bell, Telus and Rogers in Canada.
