The Blackberry Pearl 8230 has been out in stores for quite some time but this year will be the only time that it will hit Telus. Aside for the new color way that they’re showing on the images, they have not announced any changes with its functions.

The Blackberry Pearl 8230 that they will be releasing at Telus still includes the bulky clamshell design that is equipped with a half QWERTY keyboard. This cellular phone is also functional even if it doesn’t have a 3G because of its Wi-Fi that still allows the user to connect directly to the internet in high speed connection.

This cellular also has a 2 megapixel camera which allows you to take pictures in decent quality. This phone is also equipped with an mp3 player for music and video player. This also has useful functions such as Blackberry maps and document editor. This handset also supports an expandable memory slot of up to 8 GB.

Originally priced at $99.00 through a three year contract, Telus might bring the price down to only $50.00. You can also get this for as much as $499.00 without the contract.
