Hear ye, hear ye, people who are still hankering for an iPhone but could not afford one just do not want to splurge on one. There is a way to have the same features for less than what you will spend for a real thing. However, if you’re a stickler for the original then you might find this copycat totally disappointing.
We are talking about the Pinphone 3GS phone which is an addition to the long line of iPhone clones that are proliferating in the market today. Can’t blame people for patronizing them really, considering that money is not easy to come by these days and not all people can afford the real iPhone.
The Pinphone 3GS phone is perhaps one of the few faux iPhones that seriously try to replicate the original, even when it comes to the operating system. This will have lots of followers in Mainland China.
The images here will show you hat this copycat really looks like the real thing, including that big screen.
a little disappointed on this phone. The camera only 2.0 meg pix. The so call multi-touch screen is still not too responsive or sometime way too sensitive. The media player lack of segmented play capability, when you fast forward a song or video begin from where you left-off a moment ago, out f luck. One best I love about it is the image zoom and swipe like real iPhone, feel and look like real multi-touch technology.
The latest firmwae makes this phone amazing!! love it
All in all its a nice phone. I have had one for a month now and am still learning about it. I can sync music to it but cannot get the album art to transfer. The caller id pics and pics for the speed dial have to be saved in contacts to the phone not the sim for them to work. The wifi works great. It is a good buy for those of us not thru at&t. I got mine for less than 200.00. The call screen and answer screen have a green scroll circle that you have to move to the operation you want in order for the screen to work. If you do a factory reset code 1122 which is in the manual also, the startup screen will display an apple symbol on startup. If anyone knows how to get album art please post here I would like to know. I have tried mediamonkey and itunes transfer software with no luck.
We have the Pinphone 3GS at our site. The quality of the screen really is above and beyond that of other clones. Check it out!
this a nice phone but i want to now , how to put mp3 album cover at my pinphone. i will try but cant succerfull. Can u tech me, to do that.
Hi. Can you pls tell me how to sych up the Pinphone 3GS to any PC Suite that is capable to support data/files transfer as well as Contact/SMS updates? Can this software be used to upgrade the phone to its latest firmware? Thanks a lot.
i ahave this iphone 3gs clone and its great
caddishak & other pinphone users, some useful tips:
1.To put album art, attach image to the .mp3 file, but make sure the format of that image is in “.bmp”. other format (.jpg, .jpeg, .png) will not work. I’ve tried it and it works!
2. Some .mp4 files don’t play well in video player because it use “.h264″ codec. To make it works just use converter to convert it so that the video file use “mpeg” codec. In some cases, you also need to adjust the “framerate” or “bitrate”. I use “Anyvideoconverter” which is free software for this purpose.
3. For lyrics display (sync with mp3 songs), I don’t know how to make it works..hope someone will discover howto use it.
overall…i think pinphone is worth it to buy (affordable phone category), hv great features especially the touchscreen, wifi, multimedia player, & java app. i love my pinphone! :p
where i can download application and games?how to install it in this phone?
